Trash Policy
VILLAGE OF SHEPHERD TRASH POLICY
Every Tuesday, by 7:00 am, trash bin must be placed by the curb for pick up. One (1) large item is allowed EACH WEEK along with regular trash pickup. EX: below
Trash bins are only allowed to be placed at the curb 24 hours prior and 24 hours after pick up or you may be cited.
ITEMS:
Washing machine
Dryer
Microwave
Television
Dresser
Mattress and Box Spring (are 1 item)
Recliner
Chair
Sofa
Loveseat
Lawnmower
Bike
Other items similar in nature………
Lumber (1, 30 gallon container with items no longer than 4 feet)
Carpet (bundled, 4 foot long by 2 foot in diameter, up to 4 rolls)
All household appliances that have had the FREON REMOVED, must have a sticker on them from a licensed contractor in order to be taken.
Please Note:
Construction material, auto parts and liquid paint and oil…..ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
